A proud cousin Teena of her two grandsons, Quinten and Greyson. They have started their Maple syrup farm, Twisted Tap sugar https://www.twistedtapsugar.com.  Ben their dad has always done maple syrup as a hobby and Ben’s dad Elmer also did it as a hobby.  Quinten and Greyson decided to try to sell some of the syrup to make some spending money and it just evolved from there!  As the demand grew they realized they needed more trees to tap and found a large maple syrup farm for sale in Rudyard and they moved the business up there.  Quinten lives up there full time (he graduated from high school and has taken some college business classes). Greyson and Ben head up there most weekends to help as they have to tap 34,400 trees!  Don (grandpa Mensch) has been a big help also and loves helping/advising the boys!  Hope this clears up things for you!!  It’s been quite the journey, they now provide syrup to a granola bar manufacturer!
